Red Carpet Kima celebrated the holiday with friends December 7th, 2012 at Neiman Marcus. Always with the thought of others in need, Kima's mission was to spotlight and support animal adoptions while having a blast at the same time.

Among the special guests invited were Doreen Roohanipur with her beloved Chanel, artist Lynda Kerr, Rocio Flynn with her adopted Tyson, Tyson's special collar decorations were by Lynda Kerr, Sheryl White, Emma Zuckerman who proudly showed photos of her cat (Lila, a rescue from Friends of Cats), Emma's friend Michelle Vattuone, Connie Basterache and Oliver, Lisa Casey and Bailey, Royce Campbell with Lilly and Nick, Lindsay Closson with Indo and Patches, Chris Andrews in faux fur, newlywed Kathryn Murphy, Andrea Muir from the San Diego Museum of Art, Renee Resko from Helen Woodward Animal Center, Jim Silveira from Rancho Coastal Humane Society, and Susan Smaha and her dog Princess. And she was precious as were all the pooches!

Special dogs there included 2 from Rancho Coastal Humane Society and 1 from Helen Woodward Animal Center.

While people guests enjoyed Zodiac Restaurant crab cakes, stuffed mushrooms and bubbly champagne, doggy guests enjoyed Loree Shirazi's Paw Pleasers Dog Bakery treats in all sorts of Christmas theme cookies. Ms. 'Peticure' Tess of Peticures by Tess helped pass them out to eager pooches. Eager too were guests as the fashion show started.

Neiman Marcus Stylist Alex Yanez announced the parade of pups accompanied one by one by beautiful NM models. Not a mis-step by paws or Chanel shoes in the show. The clothing, a complete WOW with designer delights by Chanel, Louboutin, Naeem Khan, Peter Pilotto and more..... Alex Yanez did a job of perfection putting together the show's collection, Ida Whitaker multi-tasked and designed the party with perfection, and Neiman Marcus General Manager Thomas Melody smiled big as Neiman's showed dog walking and adoption has never been more stylish!

* Margo Schwab, MBA, more formally known as Margaret E. Schwab, has produced, written, interviewed and photographed for various media organizations since 1989. Schwab attended Holton Arms School, La Jolla Country Day School and La Jolla High School. Schwab has a B.A. from Scripps College, spent a business internship with S.A.I.C., Science Applications International Corporation, and earned a Masters of Business degree, M.B.A., from the University of San Diego by way of Claremont Graduate School . Schwab additionally took college courses from Harvard University, and Syracuse University. Schwab volunteers for numerous charity organizations.
